On a foggy winter trek along railway tracks in Himachal Pradesh, one of our team members heard the rumble before they saw the light. A train. Full speed. Barely time to leap aside.

"He survived. But the trackman working those same rails every night might not be so lucky."

That moment forced us to ask: who are the people walking these tracks every night? We found them — 3 lakh railway trackmen across India, patrolling 10–15 km per shift, in fog and darkness, with almost nothing protecting them. We couldn't unsee them. So we built PEHRA.

Measured trackmen's vest and foot sizes for universal fit. Gathered raw materials — technical components, used vest, shoes, 3D printing filament.
Month 2–4
3D Design & Printing
Designed both PEHRA components in Blender. Printed honeycomb vest panel, biomimicry shoe sole, and GPS casing using FlashForge printer.
Month 4–6
Assembly & Integration
Assembled all components, integrated electronics, branded PEHRA with printed logo. Ensured no part was missed.
Month 6–8
Testing & Refinement
Tested safety, efficiency and performance. Gathered feedback for improvements. Optimized comfort and packaged for distribution.
